Before ordering cosplay for a convention, check four things: what the package includes, how the selected option fits, whether your venue accepts the prop you want to carry, and how preparation plus delivery fit your schedule. A shipping estimate alone is not a promise that your complete outfit will be ready for an event.
1. Separate the outfit into individual purchases
Make a list for clothing, wig, footwear and props. Mark each item as included, already owned or still needed. For example, if a package lists a top, coat, tie and pants, that list does not include a wig, shoes or props. Compare the written contents for your selected option with our package checklist instead of treating a reference image as a complete shopping list.
2. Confirm measurements for each item
Use the size chart and instructions on the specific listing. Do not assume that the same size label fits identically across costumes and footwear. If a required measurement or option is unclear, send the product link and your measurements to MGcosplay support before placing the order. Avoid guessing which size or customization is available.
3. Check the convention's own prop policy
Before choosing an item from props and accessories, read the rules published by your event and venue. Check any limits on dimensions, materials and how props may be carried. A product being described as a cosplay prop does not guarantee admission. If the listing lacks a measurement the venue needs, ask for clarification before buying.
4. Add processing time to shipping transit time
Total delivery time = processing time + shipping transit time. The transit estimate starts after preparation; it is not the total time from placing your order. Use the MGcosplay timing below when planning your purchase:
- Ready-in-stock items: ship out within 24 hours.
- Unstocked costumes: 7–35 business days for processing.
- Custom-size orders: 14–35 business days for processing.
- Shipping transit: 3–16 business days after processing.
Shipping out within 24 hours does not mean delivery within 24 hours. Check availability for your exact size or option, then allow time to inspect the package and try on the complete outfit before the event. Estimates do not guarantee arrival on a particular date. 5. Check availability and possible import charges
You can browse the ready-to-ship selection, but confirm availability for the size or option you need. For international orders, import duties or related charges may be requested by the destination authorities or carrier and are the customer's responsibility when applicable. Do not assume they are included in the product price or shipping charge. Review the store's shipping information before ordering.
What should I send when asking about an event deadline?
Include the product link, selected size or option, destination country and event date. This gives support the information needed to discuss your order; it is not itself a delivery guarantee.
